This course meets the three-hour contracts class as required by TREC. In addition to learning how to fill out the TREC contract and related forms license holders must be knowledgeable in the provisions of the Texas Real Estate License Act and the Rules of the Texas Real Estate Commission pertaining to the proper use of the forms. This course will walk agents through the relevant License Act and TREC Rules sections step by step. What is required as well as what is prohibited in the use of these all-important forms. We will also delve into the unauthorized practice of law which is often a pitfall for agents. Finally, we will examine a comprehensive list of the TREC forms. This course is highly relevant to both new and experienced agents practicing residential real estate.
