This course meets the three-hour contracts class as required by TREC. The intermediary provisions of the Texas Real Estate License Act will be reviewed in detail so that license holders will fully understand how representing both parties works under Texas law. After that foundation is laid, the intermediary provisions of TREC’s Information About Brokerage Service form, TAR Listing Agreement, TAR Buyer Representation Agreement, TAR Intermediary Relationship Notice, and the TREC 1 to 4 Family Contract will be covered so that the intermediary paper trail may be completed properly. Agents will then be able to guide their clients through this sophisticated transaction easily.
